Potato Peeler · last updated 13 October 2026
Potato Peeler is a game. We collect only what the game needs to work online, we don't sell it,
and we don't use it for advertising.
What we collect
- A random player ID. The app makes up a random device ID the first time it runs. It is not
your phone's hardware ID, advertising ID or account.
- Your player name, if you choose one (otherwise a made-up one like "Peeler 4821"). It's shown
on leaderboards, in the Peel League and to friends you add.
- Your game progress (the cloud save) and scores, so you can keep playing after reinstalling and
appear on leaderboards.
- Friends and gifts you add or send with friend codes.
- Purchases. When you buy something, Google Play handles the payment. We receive the order ID
and a purchase token from Google Play to check the payment and give you what you bought. We never see
your card or Google account details.
- Your IP address is seen by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to deliver the game and keep
it safe from abuse (for example, too many requests). We don't store it with your player data;
Cloudflare's request logs are kept for a few days.
What we don't do
- No advertising IDs, no third-party analytics or ad networks, no tracking across apps.
- We don't sell or share your data, except with Google Play to process purchases.
Where it's kept
On Cloudflare's network (Cloudflare, Inc. processes it on our behalf), protected by HTTPS. The
database keeps 30 days of history so it can be restored after a mistake.
Deleting your data
In the game: More → Settings → Delete my cloud data. This deletes your save, scores, league
history, friends and name from our server right away. Or ask us to delete it.
Records of purchases are kept as long as the law requires, without your name.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. If you're in the EU or UK you also have
the right to complain to your data protection authority.
